Sheriff's Office Searches for Suspect Who Fired Shots
during Domestic Dispute

The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office is investigating a domestic dispute incident that occurred in Bluffton's Woodbridge residential community during which shots were fired.

At 12:50 PM today, Sheriff's deputies responded to 15 Mayfair Drive in the Woodbridge residential community in reference to a report of a shots fired during a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, deputies discovered that the subject, Randy A. Crosby (22-year-old white male) fled on foot from the residence after discharging two gunshots from the residence following a dispute with family members. No injuries were incurred during this incident.

Members of the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office along with members of the Bluffton City Police Department, established a perimeter around the immediate area, and the Beaufort County schools located off of Buckwalter Drive were locked down as a result of the search for the subject. Beaufort County Sheriff's Office K-9 Tracking Team responded to assist in the search. The subject was not located, and possible charges are pending.
