The Beaufort County Joint Enforcement Traffic Team (JETT) will be conducting a traffic safety checkpoint on Friday, January 18, 2008 from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm.

The checkpoint will take place on Sam's Point Road near Beaufort Academy.

The checkpoint will affect eastbound traffic only, with traffic reduced to one lane through the checkpoint area.

Drivers passing through the checkpoint will be asked to produce their driver's license, registration and proof of vehicle insurance.
