Michael Devon Freeman

On November 20, 2007 at approximately 7:15 pm, Beaufort County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a call about a reported gunshot victim at Battery Creek High School (1 Blue Dolphin Drive) in Burton.

When deputies arrived on scene, they discovered that the victim, 17-year-old Daryle Kinloch Jr., had been shot while at the school and that he had been transported by friends to the Beaufort Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The suspect responsible for the shooting has been identified as 18-year-old Michael Devon Freeman.

Freeman is wanted by the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office for the following charges:

• Assault and Battery with Intent to Kill
• Possession of a Firearm in Commission of a Violent Crime
• Possession of a Weapon on School Property
• Pointing a Firearm at any Person
