The Beaufort County Joint Enforcement Traffic Team (JETT) traffic safety checkpoint that was originally scheduled for Thursday, October 25th has been rescheduled to take place on Wednesday, October 31st, 2007 from 9 pm to 11 pm.

The originally scheduled location (Hwy 170 in the area of Stuckey Brothers Furniture near Camp St. Mary's Rd) will remain the same for the October 31st checkpoint. The checkpoint will affect westbound traffic only. Traffic will be reduced to one lane through the checkpoint area.

Drivers passing through the checkpoint will be asked to produce their driver's license, registration, and proof of insurance for their vehicle.
