Suspect Arrested in Burton Stabbing

Brittany Devon Allen

The suspect being sought in the October 19th stabbing of 22-year-old Ephraim Darrell Moultrie was arrested Saturday afternoon by Beaufort County Sheriff's deputies.

Nineteen-year-old Brittany Devon Allen of Seabrook was arrested on October 27th at approximately 2:45 pm when deputies made contact with her at her home on Ben Allen Road. Allen was taken into custody without incident and was transported to the Beaufort County Detention Center, where she remains on a $15,250 bond for the charge of Assault and Battery with Intent to Kill.

Allen's charge stems from an incident occurring just before 3:00 am on the morning of October 19th. On that date, Sheriff's deputies responded to the residence located at 2320 Trask Parkway in Burton in reference to a stabbing victim. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with Ephraim Moultrie, sitting on the front porch of the home bleeding from the abdomen.

Moultrie relayed to deputies that his girlfriend, Brittany Allen, had stabbed him during an argument, and she had fled the scene after the attack.
