Major David J. Zeoli

Major David J. Zeoli serves as the Emergency Management Division’s point of contact for all emergency services, homeland security matters; as well as, supervising program managers for communications and all technical support. He also serves as the primary liaison for all military installations both in and outside of Beaufort County. Major Zeoli interfaces with federal, state, and local personnel on operational issues, and partners with the Civil Air Patrol (CAP), Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and Volunteer Organizations Active during a Disaster (VOAD) leadership in formulating the policies, program goals, and objectives for other counterpart agencies at the state level.

Zeoli retired from the United States Marine Corps after serving twenty years on active duty. He continues to share his military background and experience as a volunteer member of the South Carolina State Guard and with the Civil Air Patrol. David has served within Emergency Management for the past several years and has been certified by the State of South Carolina as a Certified Emergency Manager. In addition, he is a Concealed Weapons Permit Instructor and holds a technician class amateur radio operator license.
