Suspects Arrested on Drug Charges

BEAUFORT/JASPER COUNTIES - (February 3/4:30 PM) - On January 30th and 31st , members of the Beaufort/Jasper Multi Agency Drug Task Force (DTF) made numerous arrests for drug and other criminal charges throughout Beaufort and Jasper Counties.

On January 30th, at approximately 6:00 pm , DTF concluded an investigation into subjects distributing cocaine out of a residence located at 20 Simmonsville Rd in Bluffton. Over the past several months investigators purchased cocaine from unit #2006 at Bluffton House Apartments, and as a result, a search warrant was obtained and executed.

Upon executing the search warrant, two subjects Alfredo Flores and Francisco Anibal Flores resisted arrest/detention by making physical contact with the SWAT Team entry members. Once these subjects were detained, investigators identified Ana Iris Maldonado in the residence, and found that she had an outstanding warrant for her arrest.

While conducting a search of the residence, investigators located cocaine and other drug paraphernalia resulting in Alfredo Flores and Francisco Anibal Flores being charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine. As a result of this investigation a total of five subjects were identified as being illegal and the Sheriff's Office 287G (Immigration Customs Enforcement) documented and processed these individuals. Additional Charges/Arrests are expected in this case.

On January 31st, DTF members arrested six individuals in Jasper County on drug and other criminal charges. Shane Jermaine Barrow was arrested for Simple Possession of Marijuana resulting from a traffic stop. Chris Getsinger and James Mellott were arrested in the parking lot of Ned's Pub for Possession of Cocaine, after they were found sitting in a vehicle.

Another vehicle stop was made near Wagon Branch and Tillman Road in Jasper County and Christopher Robertson, Ronnie Robertson and Earl Riley Jr. were charged with Open Containers.

Also on January 31st, DTF members arrested Joe Williams for Possession with Intent to Distribute Ecstasy (MDMA) when he was found sitting in a vehicle outside Studio 7 Night Club located at 44 Donaldson Camp Road in Beaufort.
